Garden Thursday

Iza:  Thanks for comin along on this weeks garden tour.

I haf some flowers hangin on in bloom nicely, and some work The Big Thing did, an some vegebles.  So follow me around the yard inna half circle (that keeps us mostly in the shade - its HOT today)...

The black-eyed susans are stayin in bloom real good this year.  TBT is surprised, cause last year they struggled and there was more rain last year.

The peppers are really nice now.  Last week they had mostly fallen over, but TBT put them in cages and they seem happier.  Lookit all pretty fruits...

I FINALLY got TBT ta do some weedin!  When I pointed out that the Skeeter Memorial was hidden by weeds THAT got his attention.  I knew he wouldnt allow THAT.  So he got right down ta the bare ground an got every single weed out from the area near the path...

Ta the Memorial spot...

The salvias are still bloomin good...

Im pushin him ta get the area behind the salvias weeded by next week, so the whole flowerbed finally looks good again.  He says it is sposed ta get some cooler next week, so there is a good chance of it.

Whew, lets go inside an cool down a bit.  It really is too hot out here.

You're keeping TBT busy Iza, but it's looking good!

The black-eyed susans look so cheerful. We just love them. We had Mommy doing some weeding today and she planted some forget me not seeds in the Charybdis bed. We has our paws crossed, she usually isn't too good with seeds.

Our mom haf not weeded fur awhile either, she keeps complaining dat it is to hot and humid. Even cutting da grass makes her all drippy.

That was nice to make sure the Skeeter memorial is free of weeds!
