Easy Like Sunday

We are just taking it easy taday on a spot where TBT says we have not napped together that he can recall. Its a chair in the bedroom where we both have napped alone often.  It has a bunch of folded blankies piled on it with a nice bloo pillow on the top.
It may be our LAST time, too.  TBT is reorganizin things.  He had the old CRT TV on a wood chest and the TV went away some weeks ago.  Now he finally moved the chest and will fill it with the blankies and other stuffs.  He says he will leave the pillow on the chair, but how can ONE MEASLEY PILLOW be as soft as 12" of folded blankies  (plus the pillow)?

We are negotiatin with him about this.  So far, it seems like we have a deal where TBT will open the chest and cover the blankies with a sheet (that he can wash) and will open it one day per week for us to nap on.  We are holdin out fer 2 days per week.  He argues that our furs will make him wash the blankies more often than they would like.  What?  He lives in our furs everywhere!

[TBT:  The "blankies" are big fluffy comforters and are a real pain to wash.  I don't mind their furs at all personally, but my guests do a bit and the comforters are for guests who can't sleep well in my 68 degree house.  If Ayla and Iza press for 2 days a week, I am prepared to simply lock the chest.  At least, that is my initial negotiating position.]

Its partly a "change" thing.  We don't like changes!  Unless they are new cat trees or such.  But it was still a nice calm day.

Oh, it snowed a 1/2" here yesserday.  I (Iza) walked on it.  Pawprint pictures next time...

Do you know what our MEAN Mommy does? She puts the clean blankies in those big ziplock bags and puts them unner the bed where we can't go! (it's a captain's bed)
Try for one day a week and maybe TBT will forget he's got the chest open...

Poor kitties, being deprived of such a nice napping spot. I agree - try for one day a week and maybe TBT will forget to close the chest.

I hate change too. At least my changes are done for awhile. I think the guests should like your furs--that would keep them warmer...

I agree, none of us are too crazy about change here, although some of us can be pretty crazy at times!

Mom says as much as she tries, she can't keep my floof off of the blankies in the house.

You keep your house that warm overnight? Sheesh, mum puts ours down to 60 overnight and only comes up to 65 on days she goes to work before it goes down again. So we really like warm and cuddly spots.

Your human just needs to get you your own blankies. Simple as that.

we got some snow too, but we don't get to touch it. Let's hope we get a pile of it on Tuesday even though it does not look promising.... Mom might collect some then and bring it in for us to look at.

mom goes to JoAnne fabrics and buys all of the polar fleece when it goes on sale. That stuff is like heaven on earth, Ayla and Iza! tell TBT that will keep you two snuggly warm too and I personally tolerate Miles napping close to me, even though he smells baaaad

He should buy a whole 2nd set of blankies, shove them into those freak-o space bags and hide them under a bed or something for guests, and leave you the stuff you like. That's what I would do. Yep.

Our mom gave up trying to keep our furs off of stuff...we hope you can sleep on those floofy blankets at least one day a week!!

We don't blame you kitties!! HOLD OUT FOR 3 DAYS!! At least that's what we'd say... Our favorite napping spot WAS in this nice soft platform bed our Mom called a "towel hamper". Unfortunately we were on this platform bed so much that she had to keep washing the "linens" before guests could use them so she CUT US OFF cold turkey!!

...On second thought, maybe you kitties should just be happy with the one day!!

I think the once a week thing's not a bad idea. Then, it's still a furry special place. 'Sides that, it'll be spring soon and you'll wanna be on the windowsills and near the sliding glass door!

Your new banner is awesome!

Well, here's what I think. TBT can have his nice fur-free blankies for guests, and then he can buy you some blankies that are YOURS. Problem solved, right?

We like the warm pillow and blankies part but the snow .... we're expecting some of our own and not looking forward to it cause it's supposed to bring ice.

Wow that is very norty of the TBT to take those wonderful blankets etc away from you. What are you supposed to do for a comfy cozy place to take naps. But to be honest, it is hard to wash those comforters. You have a nice blog. I think this our first visit here. Hope you have a wonderful week

Can't wait for the pawprint pictures!
The stack of blankies with the pillow on top reminds us of the princess and the pea story.
