Easy Like Sunday

"Food is our common ground, a universal experience."  James Beard

Things continue to progress well.  Yesterday at dinnertime, Iza and Marley ate together (while Hugo ate some honeydew melon between them)...
Later that evening, with 3 little piles of dry crunchies on the floor, Ayla dashed in to get some.  Then left quickly...
THIS morning, Ayla reluctantly joined Iza and Marley for canned breakfast.  I made sure to offer her favorite (Evo 95% Chicken and Turkey).  Ayla stayed long enough to finish hers...
And, this afternoon, Ayla ate right next Marley!  I was surprised, She doesn't even like to eat this close to Iza...
They have been making progress on the cat tree, too.  But that's for tomorrow...

Boy Cats are so easygoin', we think Ayla will get to like Marley real good really quick! Us girlcats are the spatters around here, but we all love our brothers. Except for The Baby, cuz John wants to eat her.

Aww, adorable! Food really is the great cat equalizer. Scarlett and Melly were at each other all day yesterday but the moment I set down their dinner (half a can of food in a pie dish), they were nose to nose, chowing down.

It was food that "broke the ice" between Milo and Alfie, when we first introduced them to each other. Alfie was just a tiny kitten so was cool about it all, but Milo had been growly. Once they started eating together they made friends quickly.
