These are pretty cool...Are they word verifications or are you making a new dictionary? :-)

BTW, we think we've re-followed you...but still aren't getting the posts in Reader! Duh! We hope Google sorts this out, 'cause we're clueless about this.

Kea, they are actual word verification words we get while visiting our friends.

Wish we could help with the Reader problem, but we're clueless about it. But we post almost evry single day, so just drop by...

I always wonder where the word verifier gets those words...

The Big Thing here... Good question Chey and Gemini! The Word Verifications used to be mostly odd letters that would seldom make a word. They were difficult to type.

Then, one bright and sunny morning, the letters became more common and were usually pronouncable in some way. Typing them became easier.

My guess is that there are common syllables, randomly connected. I see real words often, so they aren't forbidden (though those aren't much fun for our Werdy Wensday Game). I would use a surprise one (like "funboy" or "sillyone").

I DO wish they would eliminate a few fonts that are almost impossible to read (the fat ones that crowd the letters too closely to distinguish).

But it sure is better (and more fun) than it used to be!
