Thank God for better news today! I couldn't wait to get home from work and find out how you both are. Our best purrs for a nice healing rest for both of you, and a much better day tomorrow.

We are so sorry to read of the complications and the apparent ineptitude and idiocy of the vets you are having to deal with. A pressure bandage after an hour? What a twit!

We will be purring up a storm for Ayla!!!

What an ordeal - we just got caught up on this. On the one hand, we're thrilled that Ayla's other ovary finally decided to make itself easily visible so it can be removed. We're sorry, though, that the surgery caused additional problems. We hope that she's going to be all better very soon, for both of your sakes!

I have been reading your posts and now forget who sent me over...maybe Mr. Puddy.

Por Ayla, she has been through too much! Let's pray this will be her last surgery...what VET leaves an ovary?

Take care and get some rest. Keeping all of you in my prayers.

Mark - thank you for taking the time to post this update. I'm on the other side of the world, but I've been concerned for Ayla and also concerned about the emotional distress that you have been experiencing. Be gentle to yourself and give yourself time to return to your usual good spirits, won't you? I'm so sorry that you and Ayla have been through so much in the past couple of days.

Yes, emergency vets can be a total pain. But its a good thing that they are there when we need them.

Good luck with Ayla and we're sending purrs and purrayers to you and her.

We are glad to hear Ayla's home and hopefully you can both rest and recuperate today! We'll keep purrin for you til all's well! Oh, did the vet find any ovarian remnant or what what causing her problems when he did the surgery?

Amy and The House of Cats said...

Oh no we are so upset to read about Ayla and all that has been going on with her - that poor baby has had to go through so much! So of coure we are sending her TONS of purrs and prayers!

And boy, we are so on your side about being mad about that vet visit - we have been to the emergency vet a few times and while they are not always the best at bedside manner they are nothing like what you went through - we are just so glad that Ayla is ok now and of course that is the most important thing, but having to go through the stress of her being so sick and dealing with idiots at the same time, I am sorry that happened.
