Freaky Friday

We saw the weerdest thing this afternoon!  It started rainin HARD in the front yard.  We generally HATE that, but it wasnt booming, so we just watched.  Then TBT came over a said "guys, come look out the back door".  So we did (well we DO kinna follow him around).

It was dry in the back yard!  No rain at ALL!  Fer WHOLE MINNUTS, no rain in the back an we could see it coming down in tubloads in the front.

It finally DID rain in the backyard.  But is that WEERD or what?

Reminds me of my first evening in Houston. I spent about ten minutes sitting in front of the hotel watching it rain across the street.

I was starting to wonder what was going on in this town.

Once when Mommy was a very little girl she was standing in the pasture and she could see the rain coming. Mommy said it looked like it was marching to her. She thought it was really neat.

I've got a piece in The Star, the Malaysian newspaper today that's a Living In Malaysia story like my blog. You can read it for free at http://tinyurl.com/3f3gd9z

That happens here alot in the summer. Or it might rain across the street and not at our house. Weerd, indeed. Doesn't matter where it's raining, I need to be in mom's lap. Happy Caturday.
