Unsubscribing Blogger Sites

TBT learned something today.   Ya cant get rid of some blogs on yer list that are duplications or really are truly stopped ferever?  Us, too.  We've seen other kitties mention the same problem.  Things like "I've been trying to get an old blog off my list for months and it just won't stay deleted!"  We had the same problems.

We found a solution!   Here's how.

Go to www.blogger.com/manage-blogs-following.g

Yes".g", thats not a typo...

We HOPE we got that right,

Follow the instructions there.  It was easy.

Please tell us that it works for you...

 ......................

Oh, another thing.  Ya Bein got some site they can't escape from and spend too much time at?  Tell them to go to account settings, change the password ta some long series of random numbers, then burn the written numbers in a cat food can outside.  It can be recovered, but it will slow them down.  Sometimes enough fer them ta change their little minds.  Give them something else ta do, like scritch kitties...

Hmm, our mom was starting to go through her Google Reader list earlier today and unsubscribe to those that haven't posted in many months...or years. She hopes they stay unsubscribed. LOL.

Our mom has also been deleting some blogs recently. She hates to get rid of some of them because they may actually post if something happens, but we are just getting too many.

Any hints for getting Mom Paula off of FB?

We are sure glad we don't spend that much time there these days! On the blogger account that is!

We have just removed some that haven't been active for a couple of years. We will have to check if they are still removed.
When we removed some quite some time back, we did it on the google reader page and they kept re-appearing. When we did it on the "manage blogger followers" they stayed off.

The Woman has moved some blogs to inactive or very infrequent and she keeps them there for awhile before unsubscribing.

Thanks for the info. Mom tried to help us clean up our list of blogs that no longer post, etc. and wasn't able to do it. This will make it easier for us to visit.

Now...how to keep mom off Facebook....hmmmm.

Thanks for the info. I have several followers who don't bother to comment even if they visit.
I'd like to un-follow some but can't..

We haven't had to do this yet. However, this week, blogger hasn't been letting several people upload photos.

Great advice, particularly about the list of random numbers in the cat food can. Me will has to try that!
