Skwerl On Deck!

AYLA: Well, I DID see it first!  Thats why Marley is BEHIND me...
This one crazy Skwerl keeps comin up on our deck to drink from the plant saucer water.  Even though he SEES us right up close.
We had fantasies about the plant cage bein made of razor wire and then whapping the door so the Evil Skwerl would jump up and cut his head off (an then us getting outside at it), but of course that never happens.

So we hadda stare at it while it did its Evil Skwerlly Business right in front of us.

But ya know what TBT discovered?  Do ya?

There was no water in the plant saucer!  Just dry brown stuff.  The poor skwerl was just licking up minerals.  We felt sorry fer it...

Psych!  We dint.  We hoped it choked!!!  Its an EVIL SKWERL, after all...

We hates them.  We had 50 apples on our 2 trees and the Evil Skwerls came and picked them all off but 2!  REALLY!  They eat them unripe fer the water, and there is a whole pond right next to the apples.  They are not ONLY Evil, they are DUMB!

The final indignity is that we BEGGED TBT ta put nasty hot stuff in the plant saucer, but ya know what he DID?   He said mebbe he would add some water to the saucer.

We WORRY about TBT sometimes.  His mind is just NOT quite RIGHT.

We were going to comment on how tasty the squirrel looked, but if s/he is a bit dehydrated, we think s/he might not be so yummy and juicy after all.

You know they forget 2/3 of the hiding places for their nuts and other food, right? Our mom saw that on a science news piece years ago. :-P

We don't have fruit or veggies Skwerls steal, but they do steal the birdies food, and so do those evilly raccoons!

Although if he puts water out for the squirrel, maybe you can catch him as he drinks?

MY mom also put out water for the birdies of course but the evile squirrels drink there too. So does that deer who eats all the bird food. Grrrrr

My Dad always puts out fresh water for the crazy ones. We like our entertainment well hydrated!

My human is even WORSE than yours! She would probably set out a fresh bowl of water AND a bowl of raw nuts!

(Sigh) the Mom is with TBT she thinks he should put some water out for the poor squirrel. Mommy likes squirrels she even rescued one from us and took it to a wild animal rehab place in our cat carrier. Well in all honesty it was years ago and she rescued it from Whiskers.

We think that they are evil too.
And we don't blame you one bit for wanting "at" them.

Our mom has a soft heart for all critters, that's why dad calls her Ellie May. She says give the skwerl some water.
We watch the skwerls get into the hanging feeders next door all the time. They are very acrobatic and are willing to hang on by one paw just to dig out some seeds to nom.

Let TBT put out water for the evil squirrel. Then you get to watch it more. My Mom puts out left-over cat food for the ravens.
