Mancat Monday

MARLEY:  I was stalkin a dove on the ground yesserday.  TBT watched while I spent 10 whole minnits at it goin 5 feets.
No, I dint catch it.

I think I need taller grass.  Or dumber doves.  I'll take either...  Both would be better!  It's pretty hard ta be orinj an hide among crocus leafs in short grass...

The cat before me used to catch mourning doves - in fact, once she got one right in front of my human! She did not get to keep it, though - my human literally pried her jaws open and set it free. Did I mention my human is a big spoilsport?

But what fun you had trying Marley!

We're impressed by your patience and stealth! We're pretty sure once the grass gets longer you'll have a better chance at getting a dove. :-)

Good job stalking that dove! Is probably best you didn't catch him...humans get upset about that.

You're right. Your orange fur really decorates that green, but you need to hide!

That dove had your full attention!

Great shot of you in hunting mode, Marley. You'll not have much luck until the grass is much longer, though, I'm afraid.

Yeah, green really shows off orange. The grass will soon grow though.

Those birds are hard to catch, but if you did catch it, Marley, would TBT allow you to keep it?

You mean you have semi-smart doves? We just have stupid ones!

Does TBT have some green food coloring?

you need orinj grass, Marley! Better luck next time :) Yesterday while our mom was out in a nearby field with Wriggley she saw what she at first thought to be a cat making a bee-line for a flock of gooses. She thought it was going to attack them! turned out to be a river otter making a run for an irrigation ditch, mol! The geese never flew off so they must've known they were safe.
