OK, THAT does it!

Now we not ONLY have to type some numbers in a box properly, now we have to ALSO check ANOTHER BOX just to leave a comment to our friends?  We are getting tired of this nonsense.

We are leavin until 2015 ta see if the SYSTEM gets fixed better than it is right now.

We think blogspot is takin the easy way out for them that puts all the effort on us.  We think it should be the other way around.

And we don't say this easy.  We normally get 50 visitors a day and the past couple weeks we got to 80.  We LIKED that! Made us feel GREAT!

See ya later... We HOPE...

Hey guys - settle down. It's just a few extra key strokes and it probably helps bloggers who get lots of spam. Please don't disappear until New Year!

It IS really annoying, and it makes me glad I'm not on Blogger!

Yes that robot crap is annoying & more red tape from Blogger. While I hate having to take that extra step to leave a comment, I am more concerned that since it has returned & is apparently no longer optional, I am more concened that most of the time the photo with the code numbers appears so blurred or faded on my monitor that I cannot type in the correct code half the time & Blogger deletes my comment immediately if the code I type in is not accurate. That makes me mad. Also, why couldn't Blogger be bothered to make an announcement about the robot junk being mandatory & explain why it is necessary. If you have any reputable security program that should greatly limit your spam if not eliminate it all together. I sent Blogger a message about these issues a few days ago. So far no response.
Please. TBT, reconsider stopping your posts for the next few weeks. We don't like the thought of no posts for a few weeks. We really hope you change your mind & decide to continue your regular posts.

The numbers were okay because it still posted without entering them, but the I'm not a robot thing has really peed me off too! If we are signed in to comment they know we are not a robot. Blogging is supposed to be fun, not messing around with various captchas. It should be left to the individual whether they want verification, not forced down our throats.

Yes, you can skip entering the numbers and comments still post.

The robot thing is new to us today, though. That sucks. Fix one thing and they screw you another way. Pain in the *ss!

Oh, I skipped the robot check too. LOL. Posted just fine!

You can skip the numbers so far.

It's part of Google rolling out their new recaptcha system. http://www.techtimes.com/articles/21556/20141207/googles-no-captcha-recaptcha-may-do-better-job-at-weeding-out-spammers.htm

It's frustrating that they are forcing it on you even if you asked to have verification off. :(

Once I am signed in with Google, I just skip typing in those letters and the comment goes through.

Seriously, we don't think things are gonna get easier in the future...with all the hacking that's been going on.

MeezerMews&FrecklesWoofs said...

Hope they will let us make it optional. Sheesh things take long enough...

You don't have to fill in the stuff about proving your not a bot! Post comments the regular way, and instead of filling out that bot nonsense, just hit enter. You don't HAVE to fill it out.
We think it is really stupid. It doesn't even work, really, cause you can just hit enter after your comment!
