Outside Thursday

MARLEY:  Well, I gotta admit, today is nice out.  And I'm doing it good.  The leafs are annoyin cuz they crinkle while I hunt.  But I think the mousies are hidin fer the Winter now...  I put my paws between those old leafs, to not make a sound, but it is tricky.
The lawn is better fer walkin and stalkin...
And rolling...
And rolling ...
Hey, was that a mouse noise I just heard?
Nope.  Leaves...  I think I'll get back inside.  I hear a can bein opened...
Iza may love her foods, but so do I...

It looks like you had a great time outside, even though you didn't find any mousies.

We got a huge dumping of snow yesterday and last night, so there are no leaves or bare ground for us to roll in/on now.

Looks great! Better enjoy that nice outside time while you can. Winter weather can be SO fickle!

You did a great job of demonstrating your technique for quietly hunting mousies. They may be holed-up for winter, but they still gotta come out once in a while for food & water. Those annoying leaves don't make it easy to stalk in silence. When you do all that rollin' around on the ground, it must leave a message to those mousies that this is Marley's territory & that their days are numbered. The sound of the stinky goodness being opened is an excellent reason to go back inside.

We have to wait fur mousies to find their way into the den...meowmy says how *do* they get in...and then we can stalk them as they prowl through the ductwork, usually the cold air ones. We did get one once!

Those cans always get the attention!!

Too bad there were no mousies, Marley! But it looks like you had a good time anyhow.

Lucky you to be outside. It is just too cold here to spend much time out. That's when the mousies come inside. Maybe you'll find one in the house this winter. Ho, ho, ho, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo

Looks like you had a good time outside. It has been too wet and cold for me to go out and I miss walking in my fields. When I was able to go out, those stupid leaves kept falling making me think it was mousies too.

Foi um bom tempo fora Marley, deitar e rolar sobre aquelas folhas secas parece muito divertido!

Canned food vs mouse... that's a tough call, but canned food sounds like a winner to us, too.

Yeah, we thinks our mousies have all gone to hibernate for the winter.
