Flashback Freaky Friday

This day last year ago was COLD AS HELL even in daytime.  For HERE!
A week later, it wasn't much better.   See that 5.5?  The humidity inside at 22% was SO LOW, we were gettin electrified every time we touched TBT.
Today this year, it barely has dipped to freezing yet and the humidity is about 35% inside.  We are thrilled ta go out out in "balmy" 40 degrees.  What a difference!

Things are sure diffrent year to year, huh?

I guess I'll be saying the same thing next year - I wasn't born yet this time last year! It is cold here for where we live - lows into the high 30s at night. I can't even imagine cold like you back-east kitties get!

We don't mind that it's not so cold yet this year. But we're worried about the rest of winter..
Happy New Year to all of you!!

Not just year to year - some times day to day!

Here the temperatures haven't been all that high for summer, but the humidity levels are through the roof. The official Bureau of Meteorology record says that humidity is currently 100% at midnight. Hard to sleep when you just drip perspiration even when you're lying still.

We thought the same thing...and we had a lot more snow at this time last year. But here, it's gonna get real cold next week.

Warm and getting outdoors is much better than freezing cold.
