Caturday Saturday

We had some ecitement this morning!  While we were all laying around in the bright early morning sunpuddle, a birdie tried ta fly into the house.  The glass door was in the way, of course.  So we hadda sit there staring at it fer HOURS until TBT got up and let us out to investigate.
But by that time it was all cold and nofun, so we just ignored it and enjoyed time on the deck...  TBT said at least it was only a sparrow and not one of the pretty goldfinches.

Poor birdie, even if it was a sparrow...all creatures great and small...The Lord God Made Them All!

And we think it was not an ordinary house sparrow, but some other species, see the yellow on its crown? And the white stripe and little white bib?

Silly birdie flying into the glass. They do that here sometimes, but it is usually when they are being chased by a hawk.

It's all happening at your place, isn't it? Personally, I'd prefer to see a dead ssssssnakey and a live birdie.

Yeah that's no fun when you only get to sniff it after it's stopped twitching!!
