Flutterby Viewing Tour

AYLA

My turn ta show the gardens an I choose ta interupt the regular Garden Tour to show Flutterbys today.  There havent been many and a bunch showed up today, so I decided it was special.

You may look but NOT WHAP...

We don't have enough of them lately ta whap...
But we know ya want to.
WE are holdin it in too.  And yeah, there are some bees an TBT says we gotta leave them alone, too.
 Are they bootiful?
They seem to love the torch plant...  An there are a bunch of really small ones called Painted Ladies but they move around fast.
And here is the annual bed FINALLY planted.
It doesn't look like much now cuz the poor plants are just getting started.  But they allus start out bad, so give them a month.
I know from 'sperience they will grow fast this time of year...

Now, with keepin our paws off the flutterbys, I think we need some special treats.  That's Iza's job this time, lets hope she didnt eat them all herself.

Oh Bast she did.

HEY TBT, GET US SOME SNACKS!  FAST!

Ah, quick response.  He is well-trained.    We seem to have bits of ham, bits of poached chickie, um, some fresh Nip leafs, and CREAM?  Neat.

No whapping allowed? How come? You guys are allowed to whap birds and skwirls and mousies and all sorts, so why not the flutterbys? No fair! Just as well TBT got some good snacks for ya.

No whapping of the flutterbys! TBT loves them. We are allowed moths, mousies, birdies, and even bunnies, but not the flutterbies. He does say the birdies are a difficult call, but he loves some of those less than than others and knows we cant tell the differences. An since almost all the birdies we get are birdicides on the glass deck door annyway, it is just "their bad luck" and he cant stop that. So we get them.

The flutterbys are very pretty. Usually we have lots here and they lay their eggs on the leaves and mum gets mad when the caterpillars eat all the plants. This year I have only seen a very few. I don't know where they have all gone.

I love butterflies! I'm glad you're not allowed to whap them! I hope you find other wonderful things, like great toys and stuff, to get your whappin' out!

Foi divertido ver as borboletas em seu jardim Ayla, elas são muito bonitas.
Também não temos permissão para abatê-las, mas as vezes somos mais rápidos que a nossa humana.

Those butterflies are really beautiful. Maybe you could find something else to snack on, just this once?

We haven't had many flutterbys and bees either, so we are extra happy when we sees them and the caterpillars.

So nice to see the flutterbys, sometimes they are scarce. Mum plants milkweed that they like. Plus our butterfly bush might actually rebloom this year!
