Day After Halloween

Wow, we didn't realize until last night that it was Halloween!  We thought it was still a few days away.  So did TBT.  We lose track of the calendar sometimes.  Fortunately, the house was dark and no one banged on our doors.  Which was good, we would have hissed at them.

TBT looked outside and saw we dint have any tricks played on us.   No TP or eggs or anything.   Actually, he suspects no costumed kids were out  on our street at all.  Its a holiday that is vanishing.

Which WE consider a good thing.  Noisy little door-bangers and costumes aren't things we are fond of.

Aqui tivemos muitas crianças acompanhadas com seus pais pedindo doces, é estranho por que não faz parte da nossa cultura. Fico contente que vocês não foram perturbados, nós não tivemos a mesma sorte. hihi

Halloween is a pretty big deal in our neighborhood - it's known as one of the places to go to for trick or treaters. The humans keep the lights out because they don't do the candy thing, and no one bothers us.

Yeah I think parents nowadays are taking their kids to pre arranged Halloween parties, like at their church or mall or at a relatives house. It's sure not like what it was like when I was growing up.

That's the kind of Halloween we would enjoy. Purrs

We haven't had any come to our door in years, and this year, not one porch light on on our whole block. I think it's sad because I liked it so much as a kid. And it's sad because it's just not safe for them any more.

We don't get any little visitors here because we are too far out. Halloween isn't celebrated as much in the UK though.

We had a lot of the noisy door bangers here. We're glad it's over now.

We never get trick or treaters either. More candy for us :)

Because we live in an area with few houses, we do not get trick or treaters :)
We had a good night.

I'm glad you all had a nice and quiet and hiss-free night! We actually had quite a few trick-or-treaters. They nearly ran us clear out of candy!

We're with you, Ayla, Iza, and Marley. No tricks and no banging on the door. We like saving our hisses for more important things!

Halloween not going away here. Sort of depends if you live in an area with kids and it can be easily walked house to house.

We don't get many if any little be-costumed peeps here either, since we live in a rural setting. We don't mind, cause we would have to hear a barking banshee known as dog-guy and we purrfurr our peace and quiet.
