Unhappy Caturday

MARLEY:  Its a good thing TBT warned us in the morning that a storm was coming our way.  When he thought it was near, he called us all in, so I got some good last rolls.

And it was a good thing he did.  The weather went completely horrible, and it wasn't too good inside either.

The rain started, and we are used to that, but then ice-rocks fell from the sky.  Not little ones like kibbles like HAS happened once or twice, but big ones like marbles.  And they beat against the house so hard the house was vibrating!  We aren't sure TBT could feel THAT part but we all went to our safest-feeling placing.

Mine is down in the basement unner the stairs.  I think Ayla was unner the bed.  Iza is nuts; she watched it all sitting on the cat tree.  There is a fine line between stupid and brave and I don't know which side she is on sometimes.

And then all the lights went off.  OK, that doesn't bother us as much as it does TBT, we can see better in dimness than he can.  But that's NOT supposed ta happen.  So it bothered us.  It lasted DAYS!  [3 hours, TBT]

And then ice cubes fell from the sky!!!  We stayed hidden until the lights came back on.  Oh sure, TBT came around looking fer us for reassurance, but we stayed hidden.  We love him, but survival comes first!

When it stopped we all came out ta look.  We were shocked!

We dont wanna see THAT stuff again!

Wowza Marley. I'm glad that you were back inside and safe when the ice blocks fell. We had two ice-block storms in one day last weekend and our ice-blocks were the size of golf balls. Weird weather!

If TBT came around looking for reassurance, it would have been nice of you to have given him some. He might have been a bit frightened when the lights when off.

I quite like thunder storms, so I think I would have been on the cat tree with Iza if I'd been there.

Whoa! That's some awful weather! My human says that Sparkle saw hail a few times - in fact, once it filled whole pockets of the front yard - but I have yet to see any.

We don't like that stuff hitting against the house either and we'll hide when it happens too. That was sure a bunch of ice rocks!

Isso é assustador, nós também não gostamos de pedras de gelo batendo na casa. Fico contente que vocês estão bem. Espero que o tempo melhore para vocês.
Tenham uma ótima semana, meus amores!

Those are naughty ice cubes to fall on your den like that! Yikes! Once years and years ago...in the mid seventies...petcretary was in such a bad storm with huge icecubes...so that they blocked the entrance to where she had taken shelter and it had to shoveled away...

We had wind and snow here...but today the sun was bright once again.

Wow that hail looks treacherous! So glad you all have your safe places when the noisy weather comes.

Thank you for your post expressing sympathy to us for the loss of our dear Tabby.

I really appreciate you taking the time to be supportive in this way!

I am glad you got some good outdoor rolling in before the storm came, Marley. We had lots of hailstones too. I don't like it because it feels like someone is throwing stones at me.
