We've been hit recently too, (though not to the extent you were!)We turned on word verification, but didn't realize you could control spam on old posts as well!
We dont like Word Verification. Its hard ta figure out the letters sometimes. But the Comment Moderation of old posts seems ta werk great. Who reads old posts annyways? Well, new visitors, but it is easy ta allow those cause they show up on one page.Speaking of wearin out the cardboard scratcher pad, thats the beauty of the design. It is easy ta refill. We gotta few emails about it too, so we will describe it in detail inna couple days... The Big Thing made some changes since the first description.
