IZA: The grass is real long and it rained like hell last night, so it is soaking wet. Im stayin up on the deck!
I feel sorry fer the neighbor kitty though. It stayed out last night through the rains! We dint know it was in our yard, but the neighbor guy rang the doorbell this morning (we all went to the top of the stairs and growled at the door). He told TBT that his kitty had got out and found a hole unner our fence an wouldnt come back when called.
He said she was an indoor kitty who never stepped off the patio on the rare time when she did go out but for some reason decided to explore. She picked a bad night for that! They found her unner our deck against the foundation, an that area stays dry, so that was good. TBT said she was real quiet but friendly.
An he says shes missin a back paw! Not from last night, she was borned that way; thats why they chose her. So iffen we ever see her in our yard when we are out, we wont chase her away...
Poor kitty! I am glad she was easily found - and her human sounds awesome!
ReplyDeleteAwww, we are so glad your neighbor kitty was safe and found easily; TBT did a great job finding her and we are glad you guys made a sweet, new friend!...Happy weekend, precious friends...kisses...Calle, Halle, Sukki, Mommy Cat, Daddy Cat
ReplyDeletePoor neighbor kitty. She must have been frightened overnight. We're glad your neighbor was able to get her back so easily. Her human sounds like a good person to choose her because of her missing paw.
ReplyDeleteI bet that kitty had an adventure they won't ever repeat. Poor Mom and Dad of that tripod kitty. I bet they were beside themselves with worry. We are glad it all ended well for all. Have a great weekend.
ReplyDeleteI sure am glad that kitty found a good dry spot!!!
ReplyDeleteIza....you said hell.
ReplyDeletePrecious girl. She is lucky to have a Dad who loves her.
ReplyDeleteAw, poor neighbor kitty! I'm glad they got her back!
ReplyDeleteI don't blame you for staying on the deck, who wants wet feet!
It is nice the neighbor kitty found shelter under your deck. It looks as if you have made a new friend.
ReplyDeleteMommy got the idea for the planter from a book on container gardening. It told you exactly what flowers to put together. She couldn't find all the flowers in the book, but she got the lady at the nursery to help her. Mommy LOVES our local nursery because the owners and their employees are so friendly and knowledgeable.
That is nice she found a dry place to hang out during the rain storm. We don't have any kitties living by us to come over.
ReplyDeleteWe hope that kitty stays inside from nw on.

The Human's mother used to talk about people who didn't have the sense to come in outta the rain--guess your neighbor kitty is smarter than THAT! Hello darling Iza--is it really 80 degrees and raining?? That's just . . .wrong!
ReplyDeleteGlad your neighbor kitten found it´s way under your deck so she kept dry :)
ReplyDeleteXOXO
We're so glad the kitty managed to get shelter from the rain. It reminds us of one of the TNR cats, Stumpy who doesn't have toes on one of his hind legs (it looks like they were either sliced off or he got them caught somewhere).
ReplyDeleteUgh! The rain and the loud booms woke us up and kept us up! The poor neighbor kitty, to be out on such a night. We bet she was so happy to be inside her home again. She was lucky her owner found her.
ReplyDeleteThat is soooooo cool that they chose her specifically cuz of that. We think you must have a cool neighbor!
ReplyDeleteWhat a touching gotcha story! I'm glad she was able to find shelter at your place until she could be taken home.
