1. Strangers in the house - Strange Beins came into the house again a few days ago. We all ran into the bedroom. TBT doesnt even have ta close the door cuz we arent comin out on our own while they are here.
TBT said they were here to hang a lamp, but they sure made a lot of noise about it. We saw after that it was a NICE lamp.
But we're not sure all the noise was worth it!
TBT: There was more work involved, but thats about the only visible part. Details HERE. But it WAS rather noisy at times.
2. Cat Screams - Of COURSE we react when we hear a cat scream. But there is something that comes on the TV (TBT: A specific commercial that has a cat climbing the drapes) and it gets us all poofed everytime. We hate that.
3. Doorbells - We know what the doorbell means. STRANGERS! We all go running to the top of the stairs and growl fiercely and loudly at the door. In SPITE of that, TBT usually opens the door annyway. And we hear it often, but TBT DOESNT always go to the door, which is confoosing (TBT: another specific commercial, usually).
4. Seeing strange Beins out the front windows - When we see Beins outside, we growl at them too. After all, they MIGHT come and ring our doorbell!
Wow, you kitties really hate strangers! Almost as much as my human's boyfriend does! He doesn't growl, though. And Binga is happy to meet anyone - she is a little nutty like that.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very nice lamp. I don't like strangers or doorbells either, but I just hide, I don't growl. I haven't been able to visit lately because I have been a purrisoner, but I'm free again now.
ReplyDeleteWe don't like people ringing our door bells either! Why can't they invent one that purrs instead?
ReplyDeleteNice lamp! :)
We don't blame you a bit! Strange beins are not on the top of our "like" list, either.
ReplyDeleteHappy Caturday, kittehz!
We don't growl, but most of us hide! Salem is a little tart though, running against the tide to greet visitors!
ReplyDeleteVery nice lamp, too bad it caused strangers to enter your house. We agree with you, strangers should not be allowed to invade. We hide, except for Mike, he has a habit of looking for trouble.

Sounds like there's lots of growling going on at your house.
ReplyDeleteIt seems to me that you three need to flop on TBT's belly and have a few quiet words with him about all these scary things happening in your lives. Not good enough. TBT needs to be trained to prevent them.

Mom and Dad had a whole herd of new beins in our house this week and we are scrambed like you know what to get away from them!
ReplyDeleteWe know, that commercial and don't like it either. the is another one for pizza delivery that rings a doorbell and I fall for it just about every single time.
ReplyDeleteWe growl and hide when strangers show up, too. Beau growls at the manpeep when he comes inside wearing his motorcycle helmet. The rest of us stopped doing that years ago.
ReplyDeleteGosh, mum makes sure to lock us away when the destruction was happening around here. Keep us safe she said.
ReplyDeleteCan you believe Buddah actually goes to the door when the doorbell rings, like he expects it's for him? Cripes... I'd rather hide.
ReplyDeleteWe hate strangers too...well, until we get to know them a little better. But if they come in our house and make lots of noise then we really don't like them ever.
ReplyDeleteSo we were right the thing that distracted us was a lamp. It looks nice hanging up.
ReplyDeleteMOL, Fenris barks at some commercials namely the ones that make him think someone is here. Luckily he listens to Mom when she gives his the signal for silence. But one time when he was asleep the TV woke him up and it was so funny he shot straight up and assumed attack pose to save Mommy from..................a commercial.
We saw that lamp in one of your pictures a few posts back & was wondering why it was on the floor.
