Easy Like Sunday

We are all upset about our deck being stolen away by STRANGERS, but we are tryin ta adjust.

So we made sure we were all in one picture ta make TBT happy.

Thank goodness fer cat-trees.  They get us all together sometimes.

And "Tic-Tac-Toe", we win!

Caturday Saturday

AYLA:  I like being up on stuff, but TBT needs ta clean this trash can!  After all, its the only thing I am allowed up on in the kitchen.  He just doesnt notice this stuff sometimes iffen I dont point it out to him!

I deserve the BEST!

Freaky Friday

MARLEY:  Well, this is about our Freakiest Friday EVER, Kitties!  This morning TBT filled our food bowls as usual, but instead of putting them down in the kitchen, carried them ta the bedroom and called us.  We followed him (not so much cuz he called us, but more that we will follow the food about annywhere).

Then we saw the waterbowl AND a litterbox (well away from the food).  We've been through this before, but not fer a while.  Ayla bolted, but TBT closed the door on Iza an Me.  An after a few minnits, the door opened slightly an Ayla got put inside too.

We were shut-ins!  A while later, we heard STRANGERS talking outside an then COMMOTION FROM HECK  commenced.  It lasted FOREVER 2 hours!  When we were let out again, I ran ta the deck door ta be let out.

There was NO DECK!  The STRANGERS came an they STOLE OUR DECK!  I just stared in disbelief.  Then I called Ayla an Iza ta come look.

Ayla was shocked too.  

Then Iza got there an we all just stared an stared and stared!  How are we gonna get out iffen theres no DECK?  That looks WAY too far ta jump, an even iffen we DID, how would we ever get back IN?  Even Ayla cant jump THAT high!

TBT explained that we were getting a NEW deck, but it was gonna be a few days.  In fact, longer than HE had expected.  The STRANGERS had told him, they would be back Monday ta build the new one.  But what he dint realize was that they would START ta build the new one Monday!  Apparently Monday is for digging holes in the lawn and planting feet foots footers.  Tuesday is for an INSPECTOR ta come over an approve the footers, an Wensday and Thursday (an mebbe Friday) is for building the new deck.

We all cried loudly!  A WEEK stuck inside?

Well, TBT called us all downstairs to the basement and opened the basement door to let us out.  I went out but ran back inside.  Ayla an Iza just looked out an wouldnt go.

Kitties, the basement door is NOT the way ta leave the house!  The PROPER way ta leave the house is ta stroll out on the deck, sit around a few minnits while looking around fer dangers, and then walking down the stairs ta the lawn.

We may haveta get used ta leaving from the basement soon, but not today!  Fortunately, there is a lotta stuff from the old deck inside the house right now ta explore in their new spots, but we think we will just stay in the rest of today...

Garden Tour Thursday

IZA:  First, this is World Cat Domination Day.  WE CELEBRATE IT!  WE RULE!

Second, I was poofed cuz Ayla jumped down from TBT's shoulder RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME and I sure wasnt expecting THAT!

Third, it is Garden Tour Thursday.  And we will do that too.

But I only got one good thing ta show this week.  TBT werked all day (OK an hour) an planted nice zinnias of orange an white.  An they will show up better inna Big Moon.

So we are gonna go straight ta the treats today.  New Ham an Fried eggs, all chopped up.  With Nipshakes an Salmon treats.

MARLEY:   We ALL LOVE laptime with TBT.  Iza fights for it most, but Ayla an I get it it enough.  I'm showing off my toesies today.

Easy Like Sunday

AYLA:  We got a good start on takin it Easy today.  Like eatin our breakfast together.  That usually doesnt happen.  I normally eat by myself in the bedroom up on the shoe rack (so Iza doesnt eat my meal).  But sometimes I stand in the kitchen an TBT puts my bowl at the door so I can decide iffen I want to eat there.  Today I did.

Mebbe we'll spend some time together outside too.  But outside, we mostly do our EASY separately.  It still looks like a nice Easy day coming.

Flashback Friday

IZA:  Speaking of International Box Day yesserday, I thought I would show some pictures from last year's celebration.

Garden Tour Thursday And Box Day

IZA:

Welcome to this week's Garden Tour!  Amazingly, we havent had a real one since April.  It seems like it rans evry Thursday!  But today is OK (so far).

Our first stop, since today is Box Day, is our fancy box.  Feel free ta hop in it while ya look at the pretty lilies.

Over here, we got one columbine bloomin late.  Its bigger than the others and TBT moved it from the woods to the flowerbed last year.  So mebbe thats why its late.

The Flowering Almond Shrub is lovely this year!

The Hydrangeas are blooming well this year too.  The white flowers really stand out in the shade!

I'll admire the Daylilies up on the deck while you (ahem) admire both them and me.

And finally, a quick trip into the front yard ta look at the nice Daylillies around the mailbox.  They're the kind that rebloom several times during Summer.  We like those a lot!

Now, the best part of the Tour - FOOD!  We have leftovers from Ayla's Birfday Party.  Some Chick-hen an some Ham  (sorry, the Shrimps are all gone).  An we got Nip Smoothies (with real cream) an some chick-hen broth (plus milk fer anny kittens).  An we got some salmon treats fer dessert.

Restful Wensday

AYLA:  I am resting today after all the ecitement yesserday!

Thank you to all my WUNNERFUL friends who helped me cellybrate my Birfday yesserday.

Its My Birfday!!!

AYLA:  Welcome to my PAWTY, I am 7 today!

Here is my kitten picture...

We have SCRATCHERS!

We have LADDERS ta climb!

We have BOXES!

We have BAGS!

We have GAMES!

We have TOYS!  Each sorted out in matching bins by type (are we organized or what).  From back left ta right front, thats rattley mousies, balls, stuffed stuff, non-rattley mousies, milk jug rings an assorted plasticy things, and fevvry/yarny things...

We have WAND TOYS!

There are also the 3 cat trees, stairways and hallways ta run, and the big waterbed fer bouncin on or nappin on.

And of course there is Food an Drink!  We are havin Awesomely Purrfect Chick-hen with pork stuffing...

Ham, Glorious Ham...

Wunnerful Live Dead Shrimps (marinated in silvervine)...

And Niptinis!    With blended primo fresh Nip leafs with JUST enough cream to make it smooth to lap AND some dried nip sprinkled on the top.  Plus Toona Juice or Milk fer kittens and Non-Nippers.




So 'port on over an help me cellybrate my BIRFDAY!

Monday Mancat Prezzie Day

MARLEY:  OK, this is a LOT of pictures, but I beg yer patience.  We got TBT ta bid in The Baby's Auction an we got this cool hammick!

But we were worried at first.  TBT poured the stuff outta the box an we went all, "OMC its broken".

But TBT knew it just needed some assembly.  He said it was pretty obvious how ta put it together (WE dint think so), but he did it real fast, so we were wrong.  Happily.  An it had HAPPY KITTIES all over it.

Still, it was a NEW THING, so we were cautious at first.  

Iza backed away after a few looks.  I was VERY INNERESTED!

 Fer ONE thing, I liked the catnip powder all over it. 

I had some trouble gettin on it, cuz it slid on our wood floors, but when I got it against the bookcase, I climbed right up!

Did a bit of circling around.  I mean ya do gotta be careful where ya nap...

And settled down on it.

Kitties, this is PAWSOME!

I liked it first, middle an last.

I looked around in the softy comfort...

And then took a nap there the first day it was there!

I even shifted around to try out differnt nappin positions.  Ya want perfection of course.

And napped again.
