Caturday Saturday

MARLEY: Well, before we forget, I wanna show these pictures after our little bitty snow from a few days ago.  TBT was nice enough ta shovel a path to the front of the deck so we could watch the birdies better.

After we had lunch Tuesday, we waited ta go outside.  It can get crowded near where the door opens.  Ayla had just been there too, but moved away when she saw the flashie.

 And the door finally opened!

See?  Ayla was right there ready ta jump out.  Iza likes to check the conditions first.

 I went along the path, but realized it wasnt leading to the stairs.

 So I turned around to try a differnt way.

" The Lonely hunter sets out across the frozen tundra seeking food fer his fambly..."

 "The fambly, meanwhile, waits behind, trapped by the deep snow".

 "I hope he brings me back a mousie", says Iza.  "Im hungry".  "But I think I'll wait in the cave"...

Thursday Thankful 13

We havent done this in a LONG while. but today seems just right... 

We are thankful FOR (in no order):

1.  Not much snow so far this Winter.

There are more, but we hadda limit ourselfs...  TBT said "13" and we did that.  For now...

A Little Catch Up

First, we showed Hugo The Hippo last week.  

Some of you remembered him and asked what happened to him.  We sent him off to Darling Millie, but he seems to have disappeared from there into the Quilting Blogosphere.  We tried to get him back, but were not successful.  We very much hope that Hugo is enjoying further travels.

He has special meanin to us as he was the first to greet newcat Marley  HERE!

Hugo left after days of wunnerful visitin. 

We sure wonder where he is now...  If annyone knows, please tell us about his travels since he left here.

Second, yes Iza went out in the snow.  She decided it was OK after Ayla an Marley did it.  WRONG!  She hates "cold-butt"

We think that's enough researchin fer one day.  So we are gonna go bug TBT fer mid night foods (as in it is nearly 3 AM an we are hungry....  An then sleep a lot.  ON him if possible.

A Little Snow

AYLA:  We got snow, but only 1".  TBT says the storm just grazed us and that Washington DC only 20 miles away got more.  And more north of us got hammerred.  So we are glad we arent north.

I was actally the 1st one ta go out.  Well, thats cause I'd been watching the birdies hopping on the deck while Iza and Marley were busy sleepin.  So I ran right out and spotted the birdies sittin on the tomatato cages past the deck.  I tried ta get closer but its hard ta be hidey out on the bare snow!

 Ya can see all the birdie tracks...

They all flew off, an my paws were gettin cold, so I decided ta head back in.  Marley came out an I told him he was too late.

MARLEY:  Well, Ayla told me the birdies had gone, but I decided to check anyway.  Besides, I wanted to go down an look fer mousie prints anyway.  But those snowy stairs looked pretty slippery.

So, I decided to think of something else.

Sitting in the snow makes fer a cold butt!

I walked to the front of the deck and looked around.   Nothin much ta see.

So I went back in fer some kibble snacks...

Toesie Tuesday

MARLEY:  I just feel like showin off my toesies today!

 Theres snow on the ground (but not much here) so I dont have a lot ta do.

Nappin an washin seems right fer today.

Mancat Monday

MARLEY:  At the turbotrak again

But I feel awkward when TBT is watchin.

With the camera from across the house...

Dont know why, but I feel when he sees me playing with it.

Mebbe I'll just wait til later.

Its more fun ta make noise when hes in bed...

Gotcha Day 2

AYLA:  Welcome to Day Two of our group Gotcha Day Party!  Yesterday, we had games, toys, steak and shrimp.  We're keeping with the games and toys, but today we are serving Chickie and ham!  Plus showing some of our first Gotcha Day pictures...

Gotcha Days

AYLA:  TBT missed ALL our Gotcha Days!  Mine and Iza's is January 16th (of 2008 and 2009) and Marley's is January 22 (2011).  Thanks to Flynn, who happened to notice it!

So we are celebratin all of the them today AND tomorrow!

We got games and toys...

And we got some good foods too!

Food Problem

MARLEY:  I'm having a food problem guys.  We have Wellness Pate', Minced, and Cubed.  All of a sudden, I don't like the pate' much.  In fact, the last few days, I just look around and ask Iza and Ayla why they like this stuff.

They say it seems fine to them.  Something must be wrong with them, and I'm not sure how to find out what it is.

So I guess my question is "How do I get TBT to gt rid of this stuff"?  We seem to have  lot of it in our pantry.  Almost one can of it a day.

Any suggestions?

Flashback Werdy Wensday

From 4 years ago... 

Hugo arrived on our doorstep this day in 2011.  With PREZZIES!

TBT fed him stuff he hoped he would like (and he did).   Apparently, small hippos love brocolli.

He ate with us.

And was not camera shy.

He loved our sisal ropes but more fer scratchin his behind parts.

Posed nicely.

Loved the Tutu we gave him to wear.

Showed it off a lot, in fact.

 Iza and he had long discussions...

 And he liked to kiss Marley (who was brand new here at the time). In fact, Hugo met him before WE did.
