Easy Like Sunday
AYLA: It WAS Easy Like Sunday morning, but very early, like 8 am. We were ready to get up but TBT wasnt and we stick ta his schedule cuz thats when the FOOD an the OUT is.
So we were a bit more active this early morning than he was... Marley had just gotten out from unner the covers and wanted to look out the deck door.
But he dint see annythin so he came right back.
We groomed each other.
A lot. We are good about that.
Take turns, and do head rubs.
Then just sit together. Sittin together is nice. I like Marley a LOT!
So, more grooming...
Some ear licking... Evryone needs clean ears.
I bet the rest of the day goes really good too.

ReplyDeleteThat looks like a very good start to the day. Looks like Marley got the better deal with the grooming though. When I wake up early I walk on my mum and dad and headbutt them. Mum pretends she's asleep then dad gets out and opens my cat flap so I can go out in the garden.

ReplyDeleteWell you guys might have been having an Easy, but poor TBT - he just wanted to stay in bed and snuggle under the sheets for a while longer. Nup. You wouldn't let him. Instead, you decided to bounce around on the waterybed, creating little waves underneath him; then you started licking and slurping and purring, which prevented him from going back to sleep. Very very effective means of getting him to wake up properly and decide that he may as well get up - all while you were looking so self-contained, leaving him in peace! Ha! Fabulous passive-aggressive win for you.
