IZA: Warning, there is a dead bird in this post. But we dint kill it...
A sparrow comitted birdicide on our deck door yesserday. TBT an us heard a thump and ran over ta look, but we dint see it. Well, MOST times when they hit the door, they can still fly away. This one dint. But it was well hidden among the leafs.
But then I did see it after lunch an pulled it off the leafs.
It dint move. And smelled air temperature.
I poked it a few times hopefully...
I tossed it around a couple times and pulled on a few fevvers. But it wasnt really very inneresting. An I wasnt hungry enough ta mess with the fevvers.
So TBT tossed it over the fence... Might as well make some possum happy.
Bad luck Iza. And thanks for the warning about the pic. I read on anyway!

Yeah, dead prey is kind of boring.
ReplyDeleteOuch - poor birdie.
ReplyDeleteLuv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
What fun is it if it's already deaded??
ReplyDeleteAww, poor birdie. It happens here sometimes too and doesn't always turn out well either. And that's what our mom thinks too when she puts it under one of the trees. Circle of life and all that.
ReplyDeleteDead birdies are no fun to kitties. We're sure some critter appreciated the meal.
ReplyDeleteYep, we've had that happen a time or two here too.
ReplyDeleteDead preys are no fun. Poor birdie ! Purrs
ReplyDeleteSilly birdie. They are no fun when they won't play back.
ReplyDeleteThat's always kind of sad to see. Birds really don't have a lot of common sense. Not that any of us never ran into a sliding glass door in our time...
ReplyDeleteNo birdicide here lately but mum tosses them out by the back fence for other critters.
ReplyDeleteNot very exciting when you don't get to hunt it.
ReplyDeleteHow boring to find it didn't want to try to escape...
ReplyDeleteWe see meowmy throw things ovfur the fence, and or bury them...but she has to be carefur, else dog-guy will dig em up to roll on them or worse eat them...EEUUWWWWW!
