IZA:  Who, ME?  No, no, *I* didnt pull it off the hanger.  It, um, slid right off by itself, yeah.  I was ALL the way across the kitchen and I saw it fall.  So I went rushing over to, um, see iffen it was alright.   And thats when YOU walked in and saw me sitting here, comforting my poor towely friend.

I mean, just LOOK at me.  Is this a face that would lie to YOU?

And iffen you leave the room and hear some noise, I am NOT bunny-kicking the towel.  As far as you'll know annyway...

Mancat Monday

MARLEY:  This box is filled with aquarium supplies.  We sniffed around them a bit much, so TBT dropped a throw on the box.

My response?  Walk on it to find some empty spaces.  And I found some!

The throw settled around me, and I was happy-napping.

I hope he leaves it this way fer a while!  Its really comfy...

Easy Like Sunday

Its a great place ta look around for Izas and Marleys.

And since Iza is sharpening her claws rather too near to me, watching her carefully is a good idea.

 OK, I'm ready to go for the day...  I'm gonna take it easy outside in the sun fer a while.

Garden Tour Thursday On Friday

IZA:  Well, I knew it was coming.  The Final Tour of the year.  The colds have put all the pretty flowers and plants to sleep.  Some will return, some won't. 

Bye bye marigolds...

Bye bye zinnias...

Bye bye giant marigolds...

Bye bye coleus...

Bye bye impatiens...

 Bye bye hydrangeas...

And bye bye tomatoes!

But it is a pretty nice day out, so will will have snacks on the deck where we can watch the birdies and skwerls around the feeders.  Lets see...  Ooh we have roast beast with warm gravy, some ham cubes, turkey broth with crushed NIP leafs, and some cream!  Inneresting choices.  Thank you Ayla and Marley!

And thank all of you for coming by to say goodbye to our flowers for the year...

MARLEY:  I'd sure like to go out...

But its cold, its windy, and its dark (and thats when TBT says the owls might get me)!

New Camera

TBT bought a new camera.  We arent especially fond of cameras, but its the flashy that annoys us most and we are even sort of used to THAT!  We even sort of like having pictures of ourselfs for the bloggie.

But when we say "new camera", its actually a new one of TBTs previous cameras.  Apparently, after looking around, he decided that the camera he had before this last one (that was failing because it showed shadows all around the edges) was purrfectly fine with him.

So he found one.  Noy "used" not "refurbished", but "new" as in "in the original packaging and box, never opened, never used".  TBT wrote a bit more detail about the purchase over on his own blog (where we seldom bother to go) HERE.  IF you are innerested in details...

So he is happy.  And here are 2 of the 1st pictures he took with it.  We chose them because it is Easy Like Sunday and we try to show pictures with all 3 of us for Sunday.

This end of season isn't great.   I have some pretty things to show.

The Burning bushes justify their existence at this time of year. 

And surrounded by orange leaves it really stands out.

 The orange leaves are good themselves.  Marly especially likes them, matching his furs.

We do have a lot of ornge here.

Really stands out among the green lawn and green house...

 There are 3 burning bushes here.  But this one does best.

 The hostas are fading.

MARLEY:  I find TBTs lap a good place to think and things.  About elections and stuff.

Like what will tomorrow bring...

And whether I enjoyed dinner enough...  Could I have done a better job of that?

We Are Back

We spent a couple days sort of on and unner the bed because TBT seemed so upset.  It seemed to us that the World was going to end and thr safest place to be was unner the but while TBT was up and doing stuff, and on top of the bed when he was sleeping there.  And did he ever SLEEP!  

He was in bed 12 hours a day this week.  Which was fine with US, as that seems normal.  But it wasn't normal for HIM! 

But he finally got up, cleaned the house, did laundry, and all that usual stuff.  He said there was no point in hiding, the world wasn't gonna end tomorrow, and it probably would affect US

We all got fed as usual of course.  Don't worry about us.

But he isn't as happy as he used ta be.  Granted, it's hard ta know when he is smiling, but there were definite frowns.  Even WE could see THAT!

But he changed today.  It wasn't a BIG change, but we can tell.  He went out of the house with it, he pulled weeds in the garden, he checked the mail and brought in a bunch.  He cleaned the litteboxes (a day overdue, but we managed).  He presented us with our food bowls with the accustomed ceremony and respect.  He held us each several times.  He tossed kibbles again. 

He apologized to us for being a real grump the past few days.  So things are about back to normal as far as WE are concerned.  Actually, we kinna liked sleeping all over him in bed for so many hours each night  and morning. 

We would have been posting ourselves, but we can't when he leaves the computer off.

We are withdrawing from posting for a while.  TBT is too upset.  And we are too.  Crazy is is crazy.

Mancat Monday

MARLEY:  I usually dont pay anny attention to TBTs foods or plates.  Iza thinks it the best stuff in the world and Ayla is generally interested in it.  But not me.  I think REAL food comes out of cans or mouseholes.  Or is covered with fevvers. 

But I suddenly smelled something good and went right for it.  TBT said it was something called "pork stew.  I dont know what a pork is though.

 I just couldnt get my face out of the bowl...

 But eventually, there wasnt annything left...  I'll be keeping my nose on alert for that stuff again!
