Thursday Squezzing

IZA:  I decided to try ta get into the small opening under the cabinets.  Ayla slides under there easily, so I should too, right?

 It was harder than I thought!

I got MOST of the way unner...

But I couldnt squeeze in and had to back out.  How DOES she do that?

Watery Wensday

The only proof that Marley has ever actually drank water...

Night Moves

Sometimes, late at night, TBT is still watching TV and we decide ta settle down in some napping spots until he actual goes to bed. 

We settle, but we watch fer him ta get up and head for bed.

Meanwhile, we just relax.  

Keep in mind we are across 2 rooms...

We wait...

 And wait...

Eventually he does decide ta go ta bed and we follow him down the hallway in a little parade to the bedroom.

He NEVER has the camera ready when we do THAT!  MOL!

Outside Time

MARLEY AND IZA:  We show a LOT of inside shots, but you know we are outside a lot too.  But TBT has trouble getting pictures of us there.  We tend to run over to him and stand right on his feet an HE says no one wants ta see a lot of pictures of our tops.

So when we werent knowing he had the camera, he got a few...

We LOVE bein outside.  Walking in the grass, sniffin a few mousie holes, 

And we'll admit to grabbin a grasshopper or cricket.   And rollin in the grass...

Sometimes, ya gotta just be sittin on Old Mother Nature ta feel "right".

Ayla was up on the deck watchin us.  She enjoys that, so good fer her. 

Easy Like Sunday

We normally get five 5.5 ounce cans of food per day.  It keeps us right at the weights we feel best at (Marley 12.5 pounds, Iza 10 pounds, Ayla 6 pounds).  But sometimes we get real active outside and want a little more.  So when TBT set out some new Rabbit food, we got greedy.

We competed for "last licks".

Ayla, had her own bowl in the bedroom as usual.

Dont worry, as soon as TBT saw that, he set out more (of a differnt flavor - we never get the same twice a day).

Oh, we should explain that.  TBT thinks (and we agree) that variety is good.  So we normally have the 5 cans and they are chicken, tuna, veal, turkey, and beef.  Rabbit would be a good regular addition. 

We still complain that no one seems to offer "mouse" or "sparrow".  TBT says we can catch our own mousies (and do) and that sparrows are hard to raise in cans.  OK...

11th Blogiversary

Its our 11TH BLOGIVERSARY today.  Well, maybe.  TBT says the very first post on Aug 25, 2006 dint quite post right, but did get posted Aug 26th but with the 25th date on it.  So this year we are celebrating today.

HERE is the 1st post... 

We decided that we would show the earliest picture TBT had of each of us...

So we have an early picture of Skeeter.  That remote is only 6" long... 
And LC on one of her first days...  She was a skinny kitty then.

And of us...  Ayla as a kitten...

Iza was not so happy about being here at first. She hid unner the bed fer a few days.  This was her 3rd house in about 6 months (born in one, bought as a Queen by another, then here).  She was probably wondering if this one was her real home.  Well, yes, it is.

Marley was right out there though...

He came right out and went to work calming the house.  Some cats know their purpose in life, and Marley is one of them.  When there is a hiss between Ayla an Iza, Marley moves right in between them to keep the peace.  And if the doorbell rings, Marley moves right to the top of the stairs and growls.  Peacekeeper and guardian both.

It is hard to believe it has been 11 years...

Freaky Friday

IZA:  Scritchies make me want to groom!

 But I cant quite reach his hand to return the favor...

So I'll do my own furs.

 I'll lick and lick...

And hork the furs on the floor later...

He seems to like that.  I mean, he allus picks it up in a tissue and puts it in the compost bucket with some of his favrit kitchen stuff.  So Im helping...

Unmade Day

IZA:  Sometimes when TBT does the laundry he is a little slow spreading sheets and stuff over the waterbed again.

 We, on the other paw, are FAST.  Though I was slower than Marley and Ayla...

Im just decidin on the best spot.  I think I'll take a sheet for myself...

Womancat Wensday

AYLA:  Ive been loving the box lately!

I even tolerate the flashy...

Marley wants a turn.  He will get a turn when *I* decide ta leave.

But I might sleep here all night...

I am feeling very possessive today.

MARLEY:  I LOVE grooming TBT.

Quite frankly, he tastes good...

IZA:  Me and Marley have become best buddies. 

 I like to hold him close.

He likes it too.

Being on TBT lap helps...

But we also curl up together unner the blankies at night next to TBT. 

Ayla would be welcome, but she is a bit of a loner.  She only wants TBT.  By herself...

Mind you, she does get that attention...  Nokitty is unhappy here.

 TBT says she canm sleep annywhere and in almost any position.
