Storms A' Comin

Well, the Weather-Guessers have been talkin all day about us getting storms this evening, but they started warning louder during the afternoon.  We heard them sayin stuff like "torrential rain", and "severe storms and thunder and  lightning",  and "wind to 60 miles per gallon hour".

So TBT has been outside putting stuff in the toolshed and basement, bring in plants in trays etc.  He even took in the doormats.  We kitties have also been very practical.  We been checking out our best hidey spots around the house so we know where ta go depending on which way the rain and thunder comes.

  1. I hope the storms don't bother you too bad! We're supposed to get 5 inches of rain starting tomorrow, yuck.

  6. When the rain and thunder comes, just crowd yourselves on to TBT and hold on tight!

  8. We just keep getting teased by weather forecasts and really need rain. Good idea to put stuff away! We hope you don't have too many thunder boomers :(

  9. Those storms started here before they went eastwards, Kitties!
I was sitting here minding my grooming business, when BOOM! The noise made evfurryone here jump! Then petcretary had to run and shut the windows...we had 1.5 inches of rain in a short time. That was after the 3.5 inches we had over the weekend.
At least today, Tuesday was a nice day with no rain...so the grass had to be cut. It was so thick. Took petcretary almost 6 hours to do with our (selfpropelled)walk behind mower. We have about one acre, but the hardest part to mow is the back third woodsy area...so now she gets to check out all the blogs she missed while she worked the weeekend.
