Flashback Friday

AYLA:  Todays flashback is from this date in 2011!  (Side note:  See all that stuff on the floor?  Iza had just finished tearing apart an egg carton)

I was feeling unusually friendly that evening.  I joined Iza on TBTs lap.
And even stayed there after she moved around some!
Then a little later, I went over and gave Marley some power-grooming.   He has a nice smile when happy, doesnt he?
I really got into it...
A possible problem with these pictures, though.  TBT is now noticing how nice we looked with our colorful collars!   I hope that doesnt give him anny ideas.

  3. Family time is so impawtant. Mom kinda wishes we wore collars, since that would make a fun accessory, but we've never had those.

  6. What a lovely set of absolutely wonderful photos. Iza sure did make a mess with the egg carton. Your collars are all terrific looking. Plus the grooming photos are just so sweet. Some great family time there. Thanks for the share.

  10. The Human says when Calrkie and Mr. Teeth used to groom each other like that it always ended up in a snarling tussle after awhile! You all look pretty adorable though. XOXOXO

  12. My kids always wear collars. First off I think it gives them a sense of belonging to the family. At least that is the vibe they give me. And when I take them off, they seem so lonely.
Secondly, I like to know where they are -outside somewhere or even inside. I like to know they are safe. With tags, if they get lost or hurt, someone can contact me. Plus I can hear where they are when they won’t come in for the night or any other reason I need to find them.

Personally, I think they like wearing collars which show the world they just aren’t a stray cat out there! Whenever I take off their collars they seem upset by it. And when I put them back on, they feel like they are part of the family again. You can really tell this by their actions.
