Womancat Wensday

AYLA:  I love to sit up on the top of the fence.  Its narrow, but so am I.  But I was also watching stuff.  What stuff you ask?
This tree...   Its a mulberry tree and lots of fascinating critters love the berries.  Birds, Evil Skwerls, even crows.  One time there was even a groundhog.  Who knew they could climb trees?
You can barely see me way down in the bottom corner...

You might be narrow Ayla, but you still don't look terribly comfy sitting there.

You get a good view of everything from there, Ayla.

We did not know groundhogs climb trees either. WE have only seen them running around munching greenery.
You have a good watching place Ayla

That is a big mulberry tree! Mulberries are very tasty. We have a smaller tree we have to cover with netting so the darn birds don't get them. I make muffins with the mulberries.

Our mulberry tree got cut down by the tree guys. Mum was happy as it made messes.

We heard somewhere that silkworms love to eat mulberries.
But - groundhogs climbing trees???
That doesn't sound right, somehow! Why are they called GROUNDhogs, for Cat's sake then?!
