AYLA: This week in 2010, we were getting catgrass in the house. We loved it. But TBT realized that mostly it just made us frow up IN the house instead of OUT.
Somehow, that bothered him.
So he decided to stop paying to buy seeds to grow stuff we could purrfectly get outside and that he had enough messes in life to not assist in creating more.
I kinna missed it, but since he spread Nip around outside a bit more, it werked OK. WOO HOO!

Yeah - trading cat grass for cat nip was a win for everyone.

I'm new to grass, and sort of like it, but not as much as nip.
But anything green is good, so paws up for whatever I can grow.

My human stopped getting cat grass because certain kitties (not me!) kept throwing it up.
Cat grass: When cleaning up hair and crashed lamps gets old, add some variety by also cleaning up their puke.
Believe it or not we all usually walk away from kitty cat grass.
We do the same thing with cat grass.

Nip has to be better than grass!
About the mouse. It was only taken away from Eric because it was when he was ill and not long before he went to the Bridge. He was throwing up every time he ate and we didn't want to make it worse.
Until then they had always been allowed to keep whatever they caught.
Yup. Mom gave that stuff up for each of us years ago for that reason.
Well, it proved that horking inside gets you grass and catnip outside!!!
That's a win win. MOL!

Nice flashback. Thank you for the kind words you left on my blog on on the loss of Noel. XO
My first cat Patch always had the same reaction to grass.
We don’t get cat grass either...because we make a big mess of it.
We, too gave up on grass...years ago, long before we (Minko & I),were here...cause yup, you guessed it...too much kitty puke, MOL!
My grass lover does best when I snip the grass into small pieces--maybe 1/2"--and put them on a plate for her.
