AYLA: TBT has discovered that iPhotos on Mac is not Photos on Mac, and all our pictures are on iPhoto and Mac stopped supporting that in 2015. So he is importing the iPhotos Library to Photos in surrender. Which is going slower than a snail in Winter...
So rather than letting him subject you to another whiny mewly post on his own blog, I am taking control and posting some relatively recent (2018) pictures of ME. I (modestly) title them "Ayla On Bloo".
So, in lieu of the many new pictures we have but cannot edit, please enjoy these...
We will surely get back to "normal" someday... But depending on how things go, I may have to let Iza and Marley take their turns this week.
Yeah we hear petcretary grumbling about that too...what a pain to try and retrieve old pictures.

My human doesn't remember when she switched over to Photos from iPhoto (it was one of the OS upgrades), but yeah, it's a big pain!

ReplyDeleteI hope you get those photos back to normal, how frustrating. We've never liked nor have we used iPhotos. The Dad always opted to not let apple manage photos and just copied our into a folders organized by month so we can do what we like.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the beautiful photos of you. It took a loooooooong time for Photos to analyze all of the photos as well once they are all in there. Just let it run all night long so it can do it's thing. If it slows your mac down to much while it's running the photoanalysis you can try stopping it in the activity monitor. Once they are all analyzed you can search for anything though so that's pretty cool.

ReplyDeleteAs for TBT's tech problems - We have never used Apple computers and when Mummy bought a new computer a couple of years ago, She stored all Our old pictures on an external hard drive because She doesn't trust those storage facilities in the "Cloud" - being completely purranoid.
