LAZ AND ME:
Laz got a chair back. I made sure of it. He was happy.
And when he is happy, am happy. And we ALL are happy.
Laz peacefulness is a good but slow work. I talk to him a lot. Mostly soft sounds, but also when he comes to eat, I say "dinnertime" a lot. The sound will eventually come to mean something "good" to him. Worked for all the previous Mews...
And everytime he is calm in the house is a better day. Increments of peacefulness are good. Better today than yesterday is good. It has been 3 months. Laz is better than Day 1, and he will be calmer a few months from now. There is slow progress.
How nice to see that Laz has a chair back. Progress, including slow progress, is good.
ReplyDeleteYup, Laz is looking quite comfy nest to you.
ReplyDeleteSlow and steady wins the race ;)
(Mum says that a lot but I'm not sure what she means)

Laz does look happy with the chair back. It shows he wants to be close to you. Slow progress is still good progress.
ReplyDeleteWowza. You're a fabulous TBT, TBT. I'm sure Laz must know that by now.

It looks like Laz is settling in. :)
ReplyDeleteYep, sometimes it takes a while but it sure is worth it.
ReplyDeleteSlow progress is still good progress! You're doing good, Laz.
ReplyDeleteIt's good that Laz has a chairback. Effurry kitty needs a chairback of his/her own.
ReplyDeleteI am glad you saw to it that Laz got his chair back. It made us feel sad that he went from one to the other and everyone was already settled.
ReplyDeleteCute photos. Slow progress is better than no progress. :)
ReplyDeleteBaby steps but it sounds like things are going well!
ReplyDeleteLaz, we just love seeing you found a comfy spot for yourself. You're doing so well the first three months and we can't wait to see more from you when you settle in more. Thanks for sharing the sweet photos. Have a pawsome day.

Aw, Laz is on his way to knowing that the day he arrived at Chez MarksMews was the very best day of his life. He looks like he belongs right on that chair with you. Purrs to the new kid who is fitting in more and more. And to the Old Kid who runs the show, LOL!
ReplyDeleteLaz looks so calm up there with *his* TBT!
ReplyDeleteHe is honoring you with his presence...and hooray at the differences; all in the right direction!
Progress is good no matter if speedy or slow ... great photos! Laz has found the best seat in the house!
ReplyDeleteLaz is jetting compared to Miss Fitz who took years to calm down. She was 8 when she finally got in Dads lap. He was stunned
