Tuxedo Cat Appreciation Day

It's Tuxedo Cat Appreciation Day.  LC was my only Tuxedo Cat, so this is also a Flashback...

She got along well with both Ayla and Iza.

She loved being outside.

She also got along with Iza, invidually.  She got along with Ayla, too, but I couldn't find a picture.

Flashback Friday

We are annoyed!  It is snowing again today.  3rd snow this month (one was "barely").  So for todays flashback, we looked at this week 2012.  Much nicer.  We had crocuses new-blooming and pansies still-blooming.

We did have snow this week in 2014 though.

 

Womancat Wensday

LORI:  I love ta nap unner stuff.  TBT will lift the blankies for me in bed.  He sometimes regrets it though.  First, I curl up next ta his hip but then I creep forward until Im breathing right in his face.  He doesnt like that so much, but I do.  And I have a Very Loud Purr, which keeps him awake.  In fact the most uncatly thing I've learned about him is that he cant Just Fall Asleep.

But I can get unner lighter stuff by myself.  Like this pile of towels in The Mews Room.  I get my nosie unner the edge an slide right unner the top one.  Then I turn around and stick my head out so I can see an hear better.

I WAS alseep, but the camera wakes me up some.

I finally woke all the way up...

Dont worry, I fell right back asleep.
 

Twofur Tuesday

LAZ:  Woo-Hoo, I get 3 posts inna row!  That sure doesnt happen often.

Lori was walkin past the tunnel. 

I crept in ta surprise her.

Where DID she go?

But She surprised ME!

She jumped on the tunnel.  Well, it IS pretty hard ta actally "sneak" into a tunnel.  It makes crinkly noises...

Mancat Monday

LAZ:   There are places I go up high.  Cat Trees, bookcase tops, shoe rack...  But Im generally a 4-on-the-floor cat.  There are places I seldom go.  The kitchen counter near the sink and the bafroom near the sink are typical.

Why?  Well there is water there!  Sometimes even running water.  I even sneak up on the waterbowl on the floor when I want some.

So TBT was surprised ta find me up on the bafroom counter.  But I was careful to make sure it was dry...

BTW, since it is National Change A Pet's Life Day, I should mention that TBT sure changed MINE!

Easy Like Sunday

LAZ:   We all took it EASY today.  The outside wasnt too bad, but I was the only one who went out.  When I came back in, I curled up on the bed.  Lori joined me soon.  TBT loves seeing us nap together.  He says it was soooo unexpected!

Ayla was up on the shoe rack.

I got up there too but we dont nap together.  In fact, Ayla usually just growls and leaves iffen I get too close.

I guess I was far away enough.  And not staring at her...

Marley was asleep on the carpet, but he was half in shadows an the picture wouldnt "fix-up" much.

We Are Back

Not that we wanted to be away, but TBT said the puter was being mean and there were problems.  We weren't happy about that, but we didn't have much choice.

MARLEY:   As the calmest, I will start us going again...  

I had to look at empty bowls a few times!  Not that we didnt get fed as regularly as often, but TBT doesn't normally leave the empty ones on the floor.  Its a depressing sight...

A food bowl on the floor should mean food is coming.  

The good news is also that we had whole CASES of foods arrive yesserday.  Some of the best yummies!    We are all OK.  Lori is loving it here.  She and Laz play constantly, bunny-kick each other mercilessly, and then go nap together right after.

I've never seen anything like THAT!  

I just stay peaceful and watch them.  I think it is like how Beins watch superhero action movies...

We are still having problems here.  Some new cables fixed a few things,  Email is still weerd.  TBT is workin on it.  We cant help much.

The Start Of A New Year

We are looking forward to a Great NEW YEAR!

The days are getting longer.  It gets colder, but we are well-furred.

Lori will get outside (on harness many times but free when she recognizes the yard fence) in Spring.  

Laz and Lori are loving each other.

Marley stays calm.

Ayla is out of the bedroom more recently.  Still a bit twitchy about it, but more often is better than less.

TBT is doing house-fix stuff again.  He dint do much of that last year, so we are glad ta see him active again.
