Mancat Monday

MARLEY:   Some of you may know that my nickname is "Smudge".  Others may not.  So I told TBT I wanted to mention that an show some good pictures of why I have that nickname. 

Im an orange/white cat of course, but I have this odd little smudge of black furs unner my right ear.

Ive never actually seen it myself of course (well, yeah in pictures).  It might as well be on the far side of the moon.  Hmm, it suddenly occurs to me that, other than my nose and tongue, Ive never seen anny part of my head at all!  What iffen my head furs are bright green and TBT does tricks with the pictures?  EEK! 

But Ayla assures me my head is not bright green, so I can go back to thinking about my odd little smudge.  Whew!

Easy Like Sunday

IZA:  We are taking it EASY on the waterybed this morning.  But notice that we are all looking the same direction.  Thats where the door is.  And beyond the door...

TBT is doing some cleaning out in the main part of the house and that means the bedroom is the best place to be.  First, its quieter.  Second, it is safer up off the floor.  When he gets ta cleaning stuff, he walks around a lot.  He gets distracted.  He doesnt watch where his big fat feet are.

So, to protect our tails an paws better, we stay out of the way.  And ya gotta admit, a warm soft waterybed is a REALLY nice place ta take it safe and EASY!

Caturday Saturday

AYLA:  Marley an Iza were out explorin the edge of the Wild Back Yard.  Thats where the thick growth and brambles start. 

 TBT was able to get these natural shots by staying on the deck and using the zoomiest zoom.

Otherwise, he would have ta be close, and they would just be watching HIM and sitting around his feet.

They are lookin fer voles.  Its difficult at this time of year.  When it is cold out, there isnt much smell ta follow.  The leafs tend ta cover the little holes, too.

The birdies make some racket in the brambles, that allus gets some attention cuz they are near ta the ground.

ME?  Im stayin up on the deck, ready ta go in as soon as the door is opened.

Freaky Friday

IZA:  Long-distance night-time pictures...   TBT was in another room, so the flashie activates my lasers, but doesnt do much fer the cat tree.  So TBT had ta play around with the picture some.  Made it a bit grainy-lookin, MOL!

So I decided it looked at least a LITTLE freaky...

The lower shelves of the plant stand serve as bunk beds at this time of year.

And there is a floor vent unner it, which is nice.

Planting season starts soon, though.  The top 2 shelves are occupied already!

Ayla naps here, too, but only by herself...

MARLEY:  Hey, thanks to all who helped make my Gotcha Day pawty a good one.  We had lots of visitors and lots of fun!

So today, Im taking it easy and resting.

And besides, its raining pretty hard an TBT says it is likely to stay like that until tomorrow sometime...  Yuck!

An Easy Like Sunday Gotcha Day!

MARLEY:  Its my 6th Gotcha Day!  Here is a picture of my 1st day here...

I have our scratchers all out in one convenient place...

We have a couple ladders fer good climbing and for contests later...

There are boxes of various sizes fer kitties of various sizes (or in the case of the big one, more than one kitty)...

LOTS of nice old-fashioned bags...

 We have games and puzzles...

We have lots of toys all sorted by type so ya can easily find yer favrit kind...

And we have many wand toys that TBT will help with as the pawty goes along!

Please enjoy the cat trees...

And then there are foods and drinks!    Ham...

And Drinks (most of which are Nip or Chickie-Broth, but there are a few surprize flavors ya might like too)...

And, finally, there is a Nip Cake that even looks like ME!

AYLA:  We get fed plenty good food.  But the unexpected treats are good too.  TBT puts a bowl or plate on the floor (iffen its on the floor, we know it is for US) when he thinks we might be innerested.

Two Fer Tuesday

AYLA AND IZA:  Thank you to everyone who helped us celebrate out Gotcha Day yesserday!

It was QUITE a pawty.  We havent seen so many kitties chasing wand toys in a while; TBT even had 2 in each hand there at one point.  It was like we were surrounded by a whole FLOCK of low-flying birdies.  WOW!

The pawty lasted late into the night.  We think we went ta bed around 2 am and we were slow getting up this morning.  There was a lot of Nip involved last night.  In fact, when we got up there was still one pawtier one the couch an he wasnt feeling exactly "purrfect"...

But we got him some milk and chicken pate and he left soon after that.  Just slithered unner our Ess scratcher an dint come out the other side.  Well, everyone has their own teleport style...

A Gotcha Day!

MARLEY:  I am pleased to be the Host for Ayla and Iza's Gotcha Day!  It is Ayla's 9th and Iza's 8th...  Ayla is scratchin her head wonderin where all the middle years went; Iza is more laid-back about it.




















But it is time to celebrate!  We have good foods...

And we have lots of toys an bags and boxes too!   So please come an help the Sisfurs celebrate their mutual Gotcha Day!
