LORI: This has definitely become my goto place fer naps. The bed is nice, but the door is usually closed cuz Taz started peeing there again last month. The trees huts are nice, and I do spend time. in 2 of them.
But the hood is warm an private (room fer one only) and none of the others seem innerested in it annyway.
TBT laffs that I keep "missing" the cloth pillow he arranged fer me. But I know what I like.
LORI: I used ta nap in this bed a lot (with Laz), but I havent been there fer awhile. But there it was and I felt like giving it another try.
It s quite comfy!
Its so big, I'm surprised Marley doesnt nap here...
TBT: Sometimes, when I see The Mews napping at various places, I consider how many favorite places they have. So yesterday evening, I walked around the house and counted them. Well, at least the ones I know about. I counted 26.
Sorry, I'm not going to take 26 pictures and post them (or maybe that will be a kindness to readers). You have all seen them in some post or other.
But I'll type a list by rooms...
TV Room - Top and seat of my chair. Two levels of the planter rack. The ottoman. A rubber mat that used to warm up.
The Bedroom - Anywhere on the bed itself, but let's just count all 4 corners and on either side of me. Plus Marley seems to like the middle of the carpeted floor next to the bed in daytime. My waterbed has a bookshelf headboard which creates an empty space under it. Lori loves napping there. Laz naps in the laundry hamper and in the laundry basket if there is anything in it.
Living/Dining Room - Marley loves the Hammick. Sometimes I see Taz or Lori there too. The Cat Trees have many spots of course, but the 3 highest platforms are most popular and Lori likes 1 hut particularly. And Lori has adopted the aquarium hood as her "own special place". The light creates some warmth, and the water is heated to 75F too.
The Mews Room - Binq and Marley often nap on the top two platforms of the 3-platform tree I built maybe 2 decades ago. Binq always chooses the top one; Marley likes the middle one. There is a hut at the bottom. It used to be an upright cylinder type, but when Skeeter and LC got older, they didn't use it. So I rebuilt it so that it was just a hollow carpeted round thing on its side. I've seen Lori in there. It is a bit tight for Marley, so he naps on the floor between it and the lowest platform. Marley also likes to nap in the middle of the floor for some reason.
And sometimes, even knowing all those places, I don't always know where they are. Marley especially has some places where I can't find him. But if I pop open a cat food can or rattle the kibble jar there he is! 😸
TAZ: I can nap practically annywhere. Even piles of clutter.
Its clutterred cuz thats our toy corner.
LORI: Sometimes I rediscover previous nappin spots. TBT has seen me in the cat tree huts recently...
LOKI: I love to look for new places to nap. And notice how long and slender I am even at about 4 years!
Its hard ta beat nappin for "Thankful".
Although TBT keeps waking me up with the camera flashies... He forgets ta turn that off sometimes.
They all had nice EASY naps...
AYLA: Good nappin spots... The first is a dresser drawer and whatcat doesn't like that? I mean, the best part of a box and a pillow!
I sure love the bedroom!
Today we revisit this week in 2012. It is all about Marley resting...
He loved (and still loves) the platform I built.
The sides were his pillow.
He loved it.
But he also loved the dresser drawer. 
As long as it was comfy stuffed with my clothes...
But good napping places get attention. The other Mews wanted to enjoy the comfy, too! Marley refused the requests. Well, he was there first, you know.
