 MARLEY:   We all enjoy our boxes.  But I enjoyed mine more than usual.  TBT but a fluffy sweatshirt in the box.  Naturally, that made it even better!

I furred it up real good!

 MARLEY:  Ahhhh, The Lap!  

So secure, comfy. and close to TBT.

An evening on TBT makes my day!

Although a good box is nice too...

Most boxes that arrive here are a bit tight for me.  This one was pretty good.

 MARLEY:  I love nappin these days...  Well of course Ive allus liked it, but I like it even more lately.

Taz and Lori can have the piles of towels on the shoe rack (the jump has gotten too much for me), the warm waterbed is purrfect (when there are no sunpuddles or The Lap).  

Comfort is comfort!

And you can see that I even had dinner in bed.  If the bowl is pink, its mine.  The others have red ones.

 TAZ:  I am the shoe rack king!

Lori has her aquarium hood and one special hut in the cat tree, Marley has his hammik and lower plant stand cushion, and Binq has the upper plant stand cushion and the arm of the TV chair.  

Its not that limited.  We all like the warmy waterbed, laundry piles, and The Lap.  But when it comes to special places, the top of the shoe rack is all mine!

 TAZ here:  Box Joy!  A very purrfect size.

And just high enough so I could look all around.

I was watchin out fer Lori...

And suddenly there she was!  I just knew she would show up...

But I was well-protected in my purrfect box!  She couldn't well reach over and down.  But I could.  So I had a peaceful hour...

MARLEY:   I dont sit on the back of the TV chair often, but sunpuddles were gone for the day.

I knew TBT would be there soon, so I decided to get there before Binq or Taz.

TAZ:   We love The Lap.  Well, OK Binq doesn't quite yet, but she loves the Arm.  So I was all curled up there.  His legs were in the best position.  He had fruit, nuts, and wine next to him, so he din't move for an hour!  It was purrfect...

But eventually, he had to stretch his legs out.  Goodbye Lap!  But later, Lori and I slept next to him in bed and that was good too.  Marley joined us in a bedcorner later.  

Binq likes to sleep in The Mews Room all night.  But she runs in, in the morning, when TBT gets up and she dances around on the bed for attention (which we all get) while he puts on his furs and paws for the day.

 TAZ:  It is hard to beat a laundry basket on a rainy day...

MARLEY:  I'm waiting for Taz ta leave the laundry basket.  I could make him get out, of course, but he's my Bro.  I'm patient...

TAZ:    Please pardon me, I'm just doing a bit of maintenance today.  I had some loose claw-sheaths and outside grit between my toesies.  I like to be a clean cat!

  What, you never chew on yer claws?

All that werk deserved a good resting place afterwards...

TAZ:  I was just enjoying The Lap.

Binq was nearby.  I dont mind that at all.

She doesnt get on it.  Lori was out.  Marley was sleeping...

 So it was all mine!

TAZ:  I need a new nip cigar!  This one is so old there is no smell left.

It is rather kickable and soft, so there is still something good about it.

But Nip would be nice.

Actally, we have a number of faded-Nip toys.  TBT doesnt want to go hunt so many new ones.  He thinks he will cut them open, restuff them, and sew them back up.  Yeah, right!   But he did come home with a large jar of Nip recently, so maybe he actually will.  He can actually do simple sewing.  He says the next rainy day...

 MARLEY:  I love this rubber mat.  There was a plant in front of it, but TBT moved it so I showed up better,

 MARLEY:  Last night brought warm laundry to the bed.  I love hearing that machine in the basement running!  I just wait for TBT ta dump the laundry on the bed...

He is good about waiting for it to cool before he puts it away.  He doesn't mind a few furs on his socks (or some other items I dont quite unnerstand).

It warms these old bones almost as good as a sunpuddle!

TAZ:  I do love the tower of towels on the shoe rack! 

And Happy St Patrick's Day to everyone who celebrates it.  Marley says TBT once made his waterbowl green and he dressed up in green about as much as he could...  Had Marley do it too.

MARLEY:  I love being wire-brushed.  I have sightly thick fur and get mats these days.  The wire-brush usually gets them out somewhat and I don't mind the pulling much.  I'm kind of old, but tough.

So look at all TBT got loose from me!  The pile is as high as it is wide.  Typical brushing results...

TBT saves it.  I don't know why.  Maybe he is trying to make a new cat.
